"With the penis?"

2024-12-19
What motivates you to get up every day? Is it the onerous responsibility of supporting children? Do you get up to a throng of political supporters as you work hard to win a bi-election? Motivation seems to be one of the deciding factors when it comes to the routine lives of humans. We are motivated to work bcus we like to eat and drink and exist in a reasonable state of existence. We are motivated to exercise bcus we desire to maintain some kind of healthy body shape that will attract a potential lover. We are motivated to do the things we do bcus sometimes we are compelled by unforeseen forces, like our urges, which requires us to disregard our impulse control, in order to satisfy these urges. But where to draw the line? And when should the line be drawn? Is the line shorter for politicians? I think it is, the line is narrow-thin for politicians and in fact the line is as short as a regular-sized penis.

Another worthwhile question to ask: what on earth are some politicians thinking? A fine example would be Anthony Weiner (New York Democrat) who blasted out explicit photos of himself to several girls from his Twitter account and then who sexted with a 15-year old girl? What on earth motivated him? Weiner ended up serving an 18-month sentence in 2017. And this leads me to wander down the path of memory-lane, to bring up the notorious Elliott Spitzer (remember him?) who shagged high-priced calls girls to the tune of $85,000 U.S., which means that each encounter cost him roughly $5,500 per shag. Firstly, I'd like to know what the heck did these call girls do to this man and his penis to warrant such a high price tag? Secondly, did he believe himself to be infallible, that his shagging ways would remain private from his wife? We all know how it ended. Spitzer resigned in 2008 after revelations went public that he was involved in a prostitution ring. Ironic now, given the current state of affairs and the criminal charges associated with the U.S. President-elect, who paid off Stormy Daniels to keep quiet. Funny how these revelations now seem quaint by comparison.

I scratch my head. I've been wined and dined by some high-paid businessmen who happily spent money on me in the form of gold bobbles and kitchen gadgets, but never did these words pass my lips, "That'll be $5,500 please and make it out in small bills." It makes you think that for some former politicians like Spitzer, his perception of his worthiness was in fact tied up in the amount of money he was able to shell out for a shag. Perhaps we should just forget the whole debacle or how his wife's reputation and that of his family were dragged through the slop along with him. Let us focus instead on the power of the penis and the larger brain operating in the head, or should I say the smaller brain that was in charge of the larger brain. What I do know, or at least what I like to think that I know, is that when a man cracks open his bank account to throw around cash, you know he's potentially dealing with impulse-control issues and may also be in dire need to prop up his ego. Politicians, in particular, have to accept that their lives are on display, and how the media can't wait to tear them down a few notches. Being a politician means your life is no longer your own, and that your life is up for grabs with the public and media, and especially with enemies.

Ah yes, let me return to the penis, that wily, elongated, slender, smooth-as-a-baby's bottom equipment that has gotten many a politician into trouble. When I worked on Parliament Hill for seven years, I became fond of one expression that was bandied about by the Member of Parliament to whom I reported as his Legislative Assistant and it was: All politicians are one sentence away from oblivion. I believe this expression should be updated to include all politicians are one call girl away from oblivion. In the The Godfather, that classic 1970s movie, their version went something like this, a live boy or a dead girl is all it takes to destroy a politician. But not always. We need only look at Teflon Donald, the U.S. President-elect. He behaves like he's the hammer, hitting the nail on the head. Oh boy!

For some politicians, however, all it appears to take is one misplaced word to tarnish a reputation, like the word potato, as one example (don't spell it with an 'e' 😅). Years ago, one of our Environment Ministers was lambasted for owning not one but two SUVs? And he retorted with a lazy excuse, to state that his family had a busy life, instead of coming back with a profound and plausible excuse for being such an idiot of an environment minister. Or maybe he should have blamed his reasoning on his penis.

If you are the wife, do you stand by your man while he admits to his wrong-doing or do you perform kitchen surgery on him and cut off the very thing that got him into trouble? Of course not. Cutting off the penis isn't the answer. It won't ever be the right answer. This is an unnecessary violent option, to which I can't endorse. It's easier and safer to make a quiet exit. Who can say what trouble will be caused in future by the penis? For myself, I've never lost my fascination with the penis yet I'm realistic bcus I'm not the kind of gal to throw my life and reputation behind a man who has a penis and who makes his living as a politician. These two elements, the penis and the politician, seem to be an explosive combination.

Politicians are not supposed to be human in order to ensure a successful electoral result and well, having a viable, lonely penis negates this factor, would you not agree?

The holidays will soon be upon us. I think I may need to dust off my copy and re-watch this gem, to include Part II and yes, even the maligned Part III.
