Will you forsake yourself,
to sinful pleasure?
Grant me, first,
one wish.
That I may be the reflection of
your sensual want.
That I may rise in flame,
from violet to rose.
And take from you,
sweet sigh and repose.
In your youthful body,
I grow, from out of visible scars,
Now barely there.
In your graceful touch,
I give to you my breath,
my willing flesh.
